sunflowers, at the end of the world

there is nothing more delicious than being in san francisco sunshine, reading on the grass, drinking darjeeling, and a french man reciting poetry to your right. nothing.

also, i was eating my lunch on a bench by the HSS building, and this squirrel came up to me, sniffed my leg, literally sat in my lap and started eating some of my almonds. i thought i was going to faint, it was so cute and fluffy and warm and jesus christ i CANNOT. and then another squirrel came and sat next to me. the guy on the other end of the bench started laughing and said, “yep, that was me five minutes ago.”
